The EPSF Activities -

Firstly I’d like to thank all my colleagues who actively attended the World Diabetes Day (WDD) which was organized by Minya Scientific Pharmaceutical Students Association MSPSA under supervision of EPSF and it was the first time to organize such an international campaign in Egypt in co-ordination with the World Health Organization WHO & International Diabetes Federation IDF.
The WDD included the following topics :
Introduction , pathophysiology , complications especially in food ,life style and mechanism of action of different groups of drugs used in treatment of diabetes .
Also there were clinical examination , measurement of blood glucose level & free samples over than diabetic patient (all were free ) The event was successfully sponsored by two multinational pharmaceutical companies : Sanofi Aventis & Lilly , which distributed some educational materials for all attendees (Students & Patients ) .
The successful event was well attended by guests ( 15 Delegation ) & more than pharmacy ,medicine and healthcare students .
It was honor that Dr Seef Allah Emam & Dr / Ebraheem El Kerdany showed there concern to attend the WDD , but unfortunately because of some urgent cases they couldn't attend they kindly sent there legal apologize .
The attendees were given certificates approved by : EPSF ,MSPSA ,WHO ,IDF ,Sanofi Aventis &Lilly .
Also I Want to thank MSPSA president & all MSPSA team as they were so helpful and they did great efforts to introduce this international event in such amazing way to be the first EPSF activity in 2005-2006. By :
