"Saying your opinion out loud… leaving your fingerprint" Student's day 2006, having a new flavor where all pharmacy students can take part with their thoughts and knowledge by making presentation about these topics which was chosen for a certain aim: 1. Problems facing pharmaceutical field in Egypt. "Where we know that there are obstacles facing this field in Egypt and we nearly don't know about. So why don't WE as STUDENTS TACKLE these problems, know more about them and suggest solutions and exchange opinions"
2. Management of prostate cancer "Recently the percentage of prostate cancer in Egypt has elevated. And here comes our role as pharmacists and pharmacy STUDENTS where we must know all the data that helps the prostate cancer patients to manage the disease and give these data to them via campaigns done afterwards and via direct communication with them. USE your KNOWLEDGE and APPLY what you STUDY in the FAVOR of PUBLIC. 3. Management of depression "The time is running in a glance without even finishing what's supposed to be finished from tasks. Work work work, no space for RELAXATION. Always in a RUSH. Bored from everything, routinic life…All the previous and more are the causes of DEPRESSION nowadays, where most of people suffer from mild depression via intervals of time if not severe depression. What do you as a pharmacy STUDENT know about depression? How can depression be managed? What drugs can be used? Will there be any drug-drug interactions and many other info we must know as students who will be pharmacists soon. 4. Upgrading of pharmacist and pharmacy profession "Have you ever had ideas in your mind that can make the pharmacist more qualified, having a deep impact in his society? Did you think of ways to improve this profession? Have you ever thought of new job opportunities for a pharmacist other than working in a pharmacy or in a pharmaceutical Company or in the academic section? Have you …? This is your chance to RE-SHAPE this profession to the better by presenting your ideas. Its time for you as a pharmacy STUDENT to express what's best for your PROFESSION out loud and let everyone hear it, who knows, it may have a DEEP POSITIVE IMPACT in this field one day." 5. Anti-aging therapy
"Nowadays, many geriatrics and even youth became afraid of AGING, especially females. As soon as the female is 30 the anti-aging creams are used and all possible ways to prevent aging process are FETCHED for. What about you? What do you know about the AGING PROCESS as a pharmacy STUDENT? And what is the possible anti-aging therapy? Know more and let us know more with you by seeing your presentation. " |
